What to Use in Chicken Recipe Starter
I always start out my Chicken Recipe Starter with a few simple ingredients. Celery, onions, carrots, and garlic form the basis of my dish. - 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 stalks celery, sliced, tops included
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 bell pepper, seeds removed and diced
- 2 T olive oil

Place the vegetables and oil in a large stockpot. Saute over medium heat until veggies start to brown, about 4 minutes.
Add the chicken and saute another minute.
Add enough water to cover all ingredients.
Simmer 1-2 hours, until chicken is tender and falling off the bone.
Remove the chicken and pull the meat from the bones, returning the meat to the pot and discarding the rest of the chicken.
Allow to cool. Place in freezer containers and label.
Freeze. If in a refrigerator freezer, use within 3 months. If in a deep freeze, use within 1 year.

The list is nearly endless. I’ll simmer about 2 cups of Chicken Recipe Starter, adding a little extra water, then crack some ramen noodles in the pan.
