Easy LunchBox Kabobs
The summer flew by entirely too fast and we are now at Back to School time which means lunch boxes are back out and ideas to satisfy the kids are on our minds. We love these easy Lunch Box Kabobs to add variety into the daily “sandwich and chips” routine that has become so common in the school cafeteria. These are our preferred items but you can easily substitute alternate meats, cheeses, veggies or fruits. Just remember to provide a skewer, meat, cheese and veggie or fruit to create a well-rounded meal.
LUNCH BOX KABOBS
- Pretzels or Stick Crackers
- Cubed Low Fat or Fat Free Cheddar Cheese
- Cubed Turkey, Ham or Chicken {Great way to use leftover grilled chicken from the weekend BBQ}
- Grapes or Berries
Using a Bento Lunch Box makes these kabobs even more fun to pack. This is such a fun way to get your kids to eat fruits or veggies as well. Grapes and Cherry Tomatoes are our favorites to include but cubed cucumber is also excellent for this. If your kids like to “dip” their food a small package of low fat ranch dressing can be included as well.

I don’t see a child doing this. I would never put a grape with those other foods.
