Fall is one of my favorite seasons, with the beautiful fall foliage, warm comfort food, and cooler weather. I love to go to the apple orchard, pick up donuts and cider, and enjoy long car roads along scenic routes. It also means boots and sweater weather, as well as football season. Thankfully, the hubs and I share a similar excitement to the fall season. We recently talked about things we wanted to do as a couple over the next few months. Spending time with your significant other is just as important as choosing good body products for you and him.

In life, some things just go well together. Peanut butter and jelly, Mickey and Minnie, Thelma and Louise, and Axe and Caress.

Watch the sunrise together. There’s something beautiful to be said about getting up early and watching the sunrise together with the one you love. Yes, it’s worth the early wake-up call.

Star Gaze. Set up a blanket in your backyard and download one of the many stargazing apps to your phone and lay there looking for different constellations. A cheap bottle of wine or just a thermos of hot cocoa and some cookies can make this a delightful way to end an evening just the two of you. It’s even a great romantic evening you can enjoy with the kids at home. Simply tuck them in bed for the night, grab the baby monitor so you can hear if they need you and head outside.

Go Camping. Derrick and I recently came back from an SUV camping trip in Northern Michigan. It was gorgeous, and we had a great time spending quality time together. Visit a local orchard. If you live in an area that has fruit orchards (apple and pear specifically) the early Fall months are the best time to go for a visit. Some orchards will even let you grab a basket and pick up any fruit that has fallen from the tree for free or a small reasonable fee.

Go to Sam’s Club. Hear me out. Derrick and I go to Sam’s Club a lot. Not just for the good deals on many of the items we need in bulk sizes, but to also get free food. Yes, we try to plan our trips during the time they hand out free samples. This is always a great way to try out a new product. And while we’re talking about Sam’s Club, are you familiar with the new scan and go app? It’s my FAVORITE thing. Every store needs this option.

You simply download the app, scan the products while you’re putting them in your cart, hit the checkout option once you’re done and walk out the store (of course, after the greeter checks your cart).
