Fall Bucket List Ideas For Broke People +
Fall is here! One of my favorite seasons (besides Christmas) is Fall! I love the crisp fall air, warm, fuzzy sweaters, hot chocolate, campfires, football, and comfort food. Taking care of my skin during the fall and leading into the winter months is important to me, and it’s a high priority on my fall bucket list. I’ve shared the ways I use Vaseline to keep my skin looking beautiful and radiant.
Keep reading for information on how to save on a bottle of Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion. AND, for a limited time, you have a chance to win a $100 Gift Card to Walmart. See down below for more details.
Plus, I’m sharing some of my favorite things to do during the fall season that doesn’t break the bank:
- Have a bonfire. We built a fire pit in our backyard several years ago, and use it each summer and fall.
- Find fall festivals and harvest events going on in your area. You will find a lot of them are free or cost a few dollars to enter.
- Have a pumpkin carving contest.
- Go to an apple orchard and pick apples. We love going to Uncle John’s in St. John, Michigan.
- Roast marshmallows.
- Go stargazing.
- Go for a hike. Going hiking in the fall allows you to take in all of the awesome fall scenery.
- Try Halloween Oreos. You can only get them this time of year. You can find them at your local Walmart store.
- Watch Halloween movies.
- Go to a thrift store and find vintage Halloween costumes.
- Create the ultimate Halloween punch. {or you can try our blood-clot shots}
- Make apple crisp! {we have a fabulous bourbon apple crisp recipe that’s AMAZING!}
- It’s football season! Throw a football party. To save money, have a potluck and have everyone bring something.
- Make your own fall wreath.
- Make a hot pot of chili.
- Enjoy a pumpkin spice latte.
- Go through a corn maze.

- Bake pumpkin cookies.
- Visit your local library and check out their fall line-up.
- Check the kids’ school calendars to see what free family-friendly events are coming up.
- Attend a high school football game. No, it’s not college or the NFL, but they are usually free or super cheap. {and take your own snacks!}
- Volunteer.
- Go geocaching
- Take a scenic drive around your city/state. Living here in Michigan, I’m biased, but we have the BEST scenic views.
- Go camping.
- Visit your local farmer’s market.
- Try a new soup recipe. {We just made Potato + Kale soup in the Instant Pot and it was delicious and savory!}
- Host a fall brunch, pot-luck style.
- Light up fall candles around the house.
- Help a neighbor rake their leaves.
- Eat all the candy corn.
