Starting Sunday at Meijer you will want to cash in on this deal! Meijer is back with their Meijer Gift Card offer- which I LOVE! It’s FREE money!
When you buy $50 or more in Meijer Gift Cards you will get a $5 Catalina offer to spend on future purchases. This Catalina coupon will print AFTER you pay for the $50 or more in Meijer Brand Gift Cards.
This offer is ONLY valid towards Meijer Brand Gift Cards. This offer is valid 12/21-12/24 (so Christmas Eve Folks!)
You will NOT be able to use the FREE $5 from Meijer Catalina offer until 12/28 through 1/3. *This part is different. Meijer changed things up on when you can redeem their Catalina offers. And it’s limit ten Catalina coupons per offer. (I’m reading this as you will get a maximum of 10 $5 Catalina coupons in one transaction. So that means if you were to buy 10 $50 Gift Cards, you would get 10 $5 Catalina coupons. I have always split mine up into separate transactions to play it safe!)
Also keep in mind when you go to redeem these, you may have to redeem them over several transactions instead of one, just an FYI (this is how it happened last time).
So how can you get the maximize this?
If you have plans to spend money at Meijer, which if you’re even reading this post that means YES… then keep reading!
Before you pay for your purchases, buy gift cards first! Then use the Gift Cards to pay for your purchases. (so you’re doing one transaction for your Gift Card. Then doing another transaction to use the gift card(s) to pay for your purchases).
And that’s how you just scored a FREE $5 from Meijer for doing something you were already planning on doing. Neat huh?!
*In the past, I was able to take the FREE $5 Catalina offer and use it w/ the Gift cards to pay for my items. Since Meijer changed the terms of when you can use the FREE $5 Catalina, you will just have to back during that small window of time 12/28-1/3/2015.
Still, it’s a FREE $5 bucks. I’ll take it!
