I am updating this post to add the following information- when I initially posted this deal, it was shared in my Meijer Group and a few people spoke up about the wording of the coupon and excluding clearance items.

So I go make dinner and come back to this. First all, Lisa Erica Bosquez I didn’t take your comment as being mean. For those that know me, know that I play by the rules and since I consider my an influence to help people coupon the right way a mistake was made. Tonight I did two different deals and did not read the fine print when I did this meijer shoe mperk and the goody mperk deal. However, I caught the goody mperk deal at the register. It didn’t really dawn on me about the exclusion of clearance until you mentioned. And I have nooooo problem being called out on making a mistake.
Just like people overread and not read thoroughly deals that I post and ask the same question that is already in the post… this was an oversight. Unfortunately what damage has been done, has been done. I tried this shoe freebie because of information sent by a reader, so clearly it was already out before I posted it. However, I do believe in reading the fine print and following the coupon by what is stated on the coupon… so I Will be updating my post to reflect this information and deleting ^^^^ comments mentioned above. There is no reason to go back and forth. Thanks again
For those that know me, know that we work on being 100% accurate here on the blog and posting deals that are totally legit and not “abusing coupons”. Unfortunately not paying attention to the fine print this afternoon when I did these deals and it not connecting until I was called out on. My apologies. It’s rare that something like this happens.. but it happens. I’m human, so sue me. #carryon 🙂
