FREE Youth Hunting License At Meijer
It’s back again this year! Get a FREE Junior Deer Hunting License available at Meijer Michigan stores, 9/6-9/7 2019, ONLY!
This is available for youth, ages 16 and under.
You will be able to find this FREE Junior Deer Hunting License at Meijer, in the sports section OR customer service. Meijer has offered this FREE hunting license program for youth since 2008.
***Keep in mind, youth will need to be accompanied by an adult to get the FREE Junior Deer Hunting License coupon, in-store.
Here’s more information about the coupon:
The coupon is valid for one junior deer hunting license, a $20 value, or mentored youth hunting license. Those who hunt in Michigan also must purchase a base license, which costs $6 for youth, ages 10-16. The base license allows hunters to hunt small game and purchase additional hunting licenses. The mentored youth hunting license, valid only for hunters under the age of 10, includes a base license and does not require separate purchase of the base license.
Info on the base license: The child/teen going hunting will need a base license, which will cost $6 bucks. This is SEPARATE from the hunting license (and they will need both). You are getting the FREE coupon to get the hunting license for FREE but will need to pay the base license.
Meijer posted this on their page Must pick up IN-STORE. Youth hunting licenses will be available in Michigan stores on 9/6 and 9/7, and no coupon is needed.
In the past, we’ve seen this as a mPerk offer. However, based on the information Meijer has shared, you will just need to go in-store to get the free coupon.

Do you have different information and source? Meijer has stated that it’s on 9/14-9/15 and I haven’t seen anything about the dates being wrong.
I specifically sent Meijer a message about Michigan dates and they said next week (14/15th).
