How to make Grilled Chicken Tostadas
Here is what you will need:
- Corn tostada shells
- 1 can of refried beans
- 2 pounds of chicken tenders
- 2 cups of shredded cheese of choice
- 2 avocados (optional)
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 tsp of vegetable oil
- Sour cream
- 2-3 diced tomatoes (optional)
Directions on making Chicken Tostadas
1. Begin by preparing a marinade for the chicken using a packet of taco seasoning, 1 tsp of oil, and 1⁄4

refrigerated.
2. Remove the chicken tenders and grill either on a skillet or grill iron at high heat for 5-7 minutes on

You can always be more frugal by making your own tostadas… you can bake them for a healthier version or simply fry in a bit of oil; the beans, they are definitely tastier if you make them as well… all you need to do is add cumin and a few other spices and for less than a $1 per lb, you can freeze leftovers or use them for a breakfast taco.
Hmm, that’s a great idea, thank you Laura. I will have to try that next time!!
