I mentioned in this week’s matchups that you can score FREE Sugar when you brought 20 packs of Kool Aid for $2 bucks. However here’s a way to make this deal a little SWEETER and save a little MORE!
A while back I posted about a Catalina offer printing on Kool Aid items.
Well, this catalina offer also works for the single packets!
Here’s the Catalina details:
- Buy 15, get a $1 OYNO
- Buy 26 , get a $2 OYNO
*****YOU MUST BUY THE REGULAR KOOL AID PACKETS. DO NOT BUY THE KOOL AID PACKETS THAT HAVE THE WORD “NEW” ON IT or you will not get the Catalina promotion (Thanks Tia!)
updated 8/16 some people are saying they did buy the new kool aid packets and it still works. I am hearing both stories– You can try getting the kool-aid packets that says new on it.. or just to be safe skip the ones w/ the new flavors and go with the other ones.
So the deal would go something like this:
Buy 26 Kool Aid Unsweetened Single Packets Drink Mix-.10 cents each- $2.60
Buy 1 Meijer 5lb bag of Sugar- $2.69
Get the Meijer 5lb bag for FREE wyb 20 or more Kool Aid packets
Pay $2.60, get $2 OYNO
Final cost= .60 cents for 26 Kool Aid Packets and a 5lb bag of Sugar.
We don’t drink Kool aid in my house, but I am going to do this deal just for the Sugar! Talk about ****hot*****

Also there is a STORE MPERK in some people’s accounts for $.50/1 Meijer sugar…it works and makes the deal $2.10 (I tried it today) and got the $2.00 catalina (bought original packets). Make sure to ring in the SUGAR FIRST and then the mperk comes off…then the kool aid packets.
So go check your mperks- I didn’t have that store coupon!

thanks for the post, I bought 16 koolaid the other day and only got a buck cat. back so I just now looked and sure enough 6 said new on them, who would have known, so I am going back to get more, thanks a bunch.
Thanks so much for posting this! We signed my granddaughter and husband up for MPerks last night and when
I did, they each received $5 off their next $5 purchase. My daughter gave me her MPerks too as she was not going to make it to the store so we ended up with 104 pkgs of kool-aid, 2 qts strawberries, 1-12 oz container cool whip, 1 dozen eggs, 20 lbs of sugar, 4 gallons of milk and 4 snicker bars for a total of $2.14! I was pumped! We did 4 separate transactions…have never saved this much at one time before. Thanks for what you do!

Can I enter mperks before ringing up my items? I always do mine at the end of the transaction as I was told the computer system don’t recognize mperks until the item is rung up. So if I entered it first, my mperks would not work. Also what if I enter mperks during the transaction would it still work on items rang up before entering mperks? Thank you for any advice 🙂

unfortunately with this piece I can only go by what Tia told me since I don’t have that specific Meijer mperk.
If you have that Meijer mperk I would suggest doing it as Tia mentioned. So you have to enter your mperks even before you rang up any items? that’s weird and frustrating at the same time!
