Meijer Meal Plan Week 8/11: 6 Meals $43
It’s a new week of bringing you these awesome budget-friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers.
For this week the Meijer Matchups posted here on Fresh Outta Time, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based on a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price.
Meal 1: Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Bake with Rice $4.88
- 1 lb boneless/skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 C rice (pantry)
- ¾ C chicken stock (pantry)
- 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1 broccoli crown, diced
- 1 C Meijer shredded cheddar cheese
Directions: Spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick cooking spray. Mix the chicken stock and soup in the pan. Add in the rice, chicken, and broccoli. Stir well. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour, until the rice is tender.
Meal 2: Shrimp Kabobs $11.17
- 1 16 oz pkg Meijer frozen raw shrimp 31-40 ct, thawed and patted dry
- 1 pkg baby Bella mushrooms, cleaned and ends cut
- 1 pkg grape tomatoes
- 1 onion, cut into chunks (pantry)
- ½ bottle Meijer Italian dressing (pantry)
Directions: Place the shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions on skewers. Broil or grill, basting with the dressing, until shrimp are pink and done throughout, about 5 minutes. Serve with additional dressing, if desired.
Meal 3: Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage, Potatoes, and Cabbage $4.68
- 1 pkg John Morrell smoked sausage, cut into ½ inch pieces
- 1 3 lb bag red potatoes, sliced ¼ inch thick
- 1 onion, sliced thin (pantry)
- 1 ½ lb green cabbage, cut into wedges
- Salt (pantry)
- Pepper (pantry)
- 3 T apple cider vinegar (pantry)
Directions: Layer the potatoes, onions, cabbage, and sausage in a slow cooker, seasoning with salt and pepper for every layer. Sprinkle the vinegar over the mixture, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Serve with crusty bread, if desired.
Meal 4: Sliders and Fries $5.78
- 1 lb Meijer ground beef
- 1 t garlic powder (pantry)
- ½ t onion powder (pantry)
- ½ t salt (pantry)
- ½ t pepper (pantry)
- 1 onion, sliced thin (pantry)
- ½ T butter (pantry)
- 2 4 ct pkgs King’s Hawaiian rolls sliced open bun style
- 1 bag Meijer French fries, any variety
- Condiments, as desired (pantry)
Directions: In a bowl, mix the beef, garlic and onion powders, salt, and pepper. Form into 8 thin patties. In a saute pan, heat the butter until melted over medium heat. Saute the onions until caramelized, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and saute the sliders until no pink remains, turning over once. Serve on the buns with condiments as desired. Prepare the fries as directed on the package.
Meal 5: Easy Asian Noodles $3.99
- 1 lb center cut boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips
- 2 T sesame oil (pantry)
- 2 pkgs Knorr Teriyaki Noodles (plus ingredients per package)
Directions: In a saute pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork and saute until cooked through. Add the noodles and continue preparing according to the package directions.
Meal 6: Stuffed Chicken with Salad $11.84
- 1 pkg Meijer frozen stuffed chicken breasts, any variety
- 1 pkg Earthbound Farms spring mix
- 1 pkg grape tomatoes
- ½ pkg mini Bella mushrooms, sliced thin
- ½ greenhouse cucumber, sliced thin
- Salad dressing of choice (pantry)
Directions: Prepare the chicken as directed on the package. Prepare the salad by mixing the ingredients. Serve the chicken with the salad.
