Meijer Meal Planning Week 10/15: 6 Meals for $45 Bucks

This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
Meal 1: Pork Loin 2 Ways $6.97
- 3 lb boneless pork loin
- 2 t ground cumin (pantry)
- 1 t coriander (pantry)
- 1 t chili powder (pantry)
- 1 t salt (pantry)
- ½ t ground black pepper (pantry)
- 1 bag Birds Eye vegetables, any variety
- 2 C rice (pantry)
- 4 C water (pantry)
Directions: Place the pork loin in a slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix the cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over the pork, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, place the rice and water in a large saucepan. Cover and bring to a simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Shred half of the pork loin and serve over the rice. Save the remaining pork loin for the next meal.
Meal 2: Carnita Tacos $4.86
- Leftover pork loin, shredded
- 1 pkg Frontera Carnitas sauce
- 8 La Banderita soft taco tortillas
- ½ pkg Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
Directions: Place the pork loin and sauce in a slow cooker. Cover and set to low for 2-4 hours. Place the pork in the tortillas and top with cheese.
Meal 3: Teriyaki Kabobs $4.91
- 1 pkg Oscar Mayer sausage, cut in 1 inch pieces
- ½ fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, cut into chunks (pantry)
- 1 8 oz pkg bella mushrooms, cleaned
- ¼ C soy sauce (pantry)
- 2 T brown sugar (pantry)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (pantry)
- ½ t ground ginger
- 1 t honey
Directions: Skewer the sausage, pineapple, onion, and mushrooms. Place on a broiler pan. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Baste the skewers and broil until browned, basting occasionally.
Meal 4: Asparagus Stuffed Chicken with Hollandaise sauce and Vegetables $10.85
- ½ lb asparagus, ends trimmed
- 2 lb chicken breasts (4), pounded thin
- ½ pkg Kraft shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 pkg Knorr Hollandaise sauce (plus ingredients per package)
- 1 pkg Bird’s Eye frozen vegetables, any variety
- 1 pkg Pillsbury crescent rolls
Directions: Place the chicken on a baking dish. Stuff with the asparagus and cheese. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30-40 minutes, or until no pink remains in the thickest part. Prepare the vegetables and rolls per package. Prepare the sauce per the package and drizzle over the chicken on each plate.
Meal 5: Barbecue Slow Cooker Ribs with Mashers and Vegetables $9.89
- 3 lb pork spare ribs
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, any variety
- 2 ½ lb red potatoes, cubed
- Milk and butter (pantry)
- 1 bag Bird’s Eye frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Place the ribs in a slow cooker. Top with the sauce, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. About 40 minutes before serving, place the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and boil for 20-30 minutes, until tender. Drain and mash with enough milk and butter to desired consistency. Prepare the vegetables as directed on the package.
Meal 6: Burgers and Fries $8.23
- 1 ½ lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- 4 Meijer hamburger buns
- ½ pkg Kraft Big Slice cheese, any variety
- 1 pkg Meijer French fries, any variety
- Condiments, as desired
Directions: Form the ground beef into 4 patties. Season with the salt and pepper. Broil, grill, or pan fry. Melt the cheese over the top and serve on the buns with your favorite condiments. Bake the fries as directed on the package.
