Meijer Meal Planning Week 10/26: 7 Meals Under $51
It’s a new shopping week at Meijer:
This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE (including the Non- GF Meals 7 meals under $60 for this week!)
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $51, along with a few things from your pantry! These are pretty healthy meals, at a low Meijer price that will be pretty quick and easy to make any night of the week. You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates 10/26-11/1 )

Meal 1: Beef Pepper Oriental $2.79
La Choy Beef Pepper Oriental
2 C rice (pantry)
4 C water
soy sauce, if desired
Directions: Heat the La Choy as directed on the package. Place the rice and water in a large sauce pan. Cover and heat to a simmer for 20 minutes, until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Serve the Beef Pepper mixture over the rice and season with the soy sayce, if desired.
Meal 2: Tilapia in Tomatoes with Rice-a-Roni $6.00
½ pkg Meijer frozen Tilapia (2 lb size)
1 can Hunt’s diced tomatoes
1 T chili powder
salt and pepper
1 pkg Rice-a-Roni, any flavor
Directions: Place the tilapia in a baking or casserole dish. Cover with chili powder and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drain the tomatoes and cover the tilapia. Seal tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in 350°F oven for 20 minutes or until tilapia is flakey and tender. Prepare the Rice-a-Roni according to package directions. Serve hot.
Meal 3: Brats and Chips $6.65
1 pkg Johnsonville Brats
1 pkg Ball Park Buns
1 pkg Lays potato chips, any flavor
Directions: Grill or broil the brats. Serve in buns with chips.
Meal 4: BBQ Country Style Ribs with Salad $8.52
2 lbs country style ribs
1 bottle barbecue sauce, any flavor (pantry)
1 bag Dole Salad Blends
¼ pkg Wild Wonders Tomatoes
Salad dressing of choice (pantry)
Directions: Place the ribs in a slow cooker. Cover with barbecue sauce. Cover slow cooker and set to low for 8-10 hours. Serve with salad prepared from remainder of ingredients.
Meal 5: Easy Chicken and Waffles $10.99
1 Markets of Meijer roasted chicken, meat removed from bones and shredded
2 jars chicken gravy
1 box Meijer toaster waffles
Directions: Heat the gravy in a large saucepan. Add the chicken and heat to simmering. Toast the waffles. Serve the chicken over the toasted waffles.
Meal 6: Pizza Night $8.88
2 Freschetta pizzas
Directions: Prepare according the the package.
Meal 7: Pasta with Meat Sauce $6.67
1 box Meijer pasta (green box), any variety
1 jar Prego pasta sauce, any variety
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic (pantry)
Parmesancheese, if desired
Directions: Brown the ground beef and garlic until no pink remains. Add in the pasta sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook the pasta as directed on the box. Serve hot.
