Meijer Meal Planning Week 10/9: 6 Meals $42 Bucks

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
It’s 10 for $10 week at Meijer and the sales are fantastic! Check out these amazing meals and the final cost for all this deliciousness!
Meal 1: Jambalaya $4.95
- ½ lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 pkg Johnsonville Smoked Sausage, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 boxes Zatarain’s Jambalaya mix
- 3 T olive oil
- 5 C Water
Directions: Place the chicken and sausage in a deep sided saute pan over medium heat. Add 1 T olive oil and saute until chicken is no longer pink. Add the rice mix, 2 T oil, and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, and cover for 20-25 minutes, until rice is tender.
Meal 2: Lasagna Rollups $5.97
- 1 lb ground beef, browned
- 1 pkg Meijer green box lasagna
- 1 pkg Kraft shredded mozzarella
- 1 jar Meijer pasta sauce, any variety
Directions: Drain beef and allow to cool slightly. Mix with the mozzarella. Parboil the lasagna noodles until pliable. Spread the beef mixture over half of the length of the noodle and roll up. Place on end in a casserole dish, top with sauce, and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour. These can be made in advance and frozen if desired.
Meal 3: Italian Ribs with Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables $6.58
- 2 lbs country ribs
- 1 can Hunt’s diced tomatoes
- 1 t dried oregano (pantry)
- ½ t dried basil (pantry)
- 3 cloves garlic (pantry)
- 1 box Idahoan mashed potatoes
- 1 bag Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Place the ribs, tomatoes, herbs, and garlic in a slow cooker, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the potatoes according to the package directions. Steam the vegetables using desired method.
Meal 4: Easy Beef Stroganoff with Vegetables $7.46
- 1 ½ lb ground beef
- 1 can Campbell’s Mushroom soup
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 pkg Meijer extra wide egg noodles
- 1 pkg Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Crumble the ground beef into a slow cooker. Top with the soups, cover, and set to low for 4-6 hours. Prepare the noodles according to the package directions and drain. Prepare the vegetables per desired method. Stir the beef mixture and top the noodles with it.
Meal 5: Salads with Chicken $5.99
- 1 pkg Earthbound Farms salad blend, any variety
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 pkg broccoli crowns, chopped
- 1 pkg Fresh Gourmet croutons
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
Directions: Place the chicken in a baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover, and bake in a 350°F oven for 40-50 minutes, until no pink remains. Allow to cool slightly and cut into bite sized pieces. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Top with chicken and toss with your favorite dressing.
Meal 6: Beef Roast with Mushrooms, Hash Browns, and Vegetables $11.97
- 2 lb Top Round beef roast
- 2 pkg white mushrooms, cleaned and ends cut
- 1 pkg Meijer frozen hash browns
- 1 onion, chopped (pantry)
- 1 pkg Meijer frozen vegetables
Directions: Place the beef roast in a slow cooker. Salt and pepper liberally, and top with mushrooms. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the hash browns by sauteing with the onions in a pan, adding oil as needed, until browned and cooked through. Prepare the vegetables by steaming using your desired method.
This week, these six delicious meals will cost you only $42.92! And the last meal will most likely have great leftovers!
