Meijer Meal Planning Week 11/20: 6 Meals Under $38 Bucks

This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
This week, much of the sales are for Thanksgiving, but there are still great meals to be had this week! With all the work that goes into the holiday meal, here are 6 meals that will take little time to make, leaving you with a lot of time to spend with your family.
Meal 1: Ham & Bean Soup $4.58
- 1 lb Sugardale whole boneless ham, cubed
- 1 pkg HamBeens 15 bean soup
- 2 ribs celery, diced (pantry)
- 2 carrots, diced (pantry)
- 1 onion, diced (pantry)
- 3 cloves garlic, diced (pantry)
- Water (pantry)
Directions: Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker with enough water to fill the crock. Cover and set to high for 4-5 hours, then low for another 3-4 hours. Replenish water as the beans absorb it. Serve with crusty bread, if desired.
Meal 2: Meatball Subs $8.59
- 2 lb Meijer frozen meatballs
- 1 jar Ragu pasta sauce, any variety
- 1 loaf Meijer garlic bread
Directions: Place the sauce and meatballs in a slow cooker, cover and set to low for 8 hours. Bake the bread as directed on the package and top with meatballs and sauce.
Meal 3: Wild Rice & Chicken Soup $9.25
- 1 lb boneless/skinless chicken breast, cubed
- 1 8 oz pkg sliced mini bella mushrooms
- 3 carrots, diced (pantry)
- 2 ribs celery, diced (pantry)
- 1 can Meijer Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1 pkg Meijer chicken broth
- 4 C water (pantry)
Directions: Stir all the ingredients in a slow cooker, including the seasoning in the rice. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Serve with crusty bread, if desired.
Meal 4: Ham and Potatoes $2.79
- 1 lb Sugardale whole boneless ham, diced
- 2 lb Russet potatoes, scrubbed and sliced thin
- 2 onions, sliced thin (pantry)
- Salt and pepper (pantry)
- 3 T butter
Directions: In a slow cooker, layer the potatoes, onions, and ham, salting and peppering the potato layers. Top with butter, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours.
Meal 5: Smoked Sausage with French Fries and Vegetables $6
- 1 pkg Hillshire Farms smoked sausage
- 1 bag Ore Ida French fries, any variety
- 1 bag Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Prepare the fries according to the package directions. Bake or grill the sausage. Prepare the vegetables as desired.
Meal 6: Honey Pork Roast with Stuffing and Vegetables $6.23
- 2 lb pork loin
- 1 T oregano (pantry)
- 1 T basil (pantry)
- ¼ t black pepper (pantry)
- ½ t salt (pantry)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (pantry)
- ½ C honey (pantry)
- 1 T olive oil (pantry)
- ¼ C soy sauce (pantry)
- 1 box StoveTop stuffing mix
- 1 bag Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Place the pork loin, fat side up, in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the oregano, basil, pepper, salt, garlic, honey, oil, and soy sauce. Pour over the pork, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the stuffing as directed on the package and the vegetables as desired.
This week, six meals will cost only $37.44! What a great way to save money and feed your family!
