Meijer Meal Planning Week 11/26: 6 Meals $40 Bucks

It’s another week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
Meal 1: Pulled Chicken Tacos $5.51
- 1 ½ lbs split chicken breasts
- 2 packets Meijer taco seasoning
- 1 box Old El Paso taco shells
- ½ lb tomatoes on the vine, chopped
- ½ bag Meijer cheddar cheese
Directions: Place the chicken in a slow cooker and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Remove the chicken, debone, shred the meat, and return to the slow cooker. Stir well. Assemble the tacos using the taco shells, tomatoes, and cheese.
Meal 2: Eye of Round Steaks with Rice a Roni and Vegetables $7.98
- 2 lbs eye of round, sliced into steaks
- 4 T butter (pantry)
- 2 T steak seasoning (pantry)
- 1 box Rice a Roni, any flavor
- 1 bag Green Giant frozen vegetables, any variety
Directions: Place the steaks on a broiling tray. Dot with butter and season with steak seasoning. Broil to desired doneness. Prepare the rice and vegetables as directed on the package.
Meal 3: Greek Stuffed Peppers $9.99
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 C rice (pantry)
- 2 C water (pantry)
- 1 onion, diced (pantry).
- 1 egg (pantry)
- 1 t oregano (pantry)
- ½ t salt (pantry)
- 4 bell peppers, tops removed and insides cleaned
- 1 lg can Meijer diced tomatoes
- ⅓ C Meijer crumbled feta cheese
Directions: Place the rice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 20 minutes, until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Allow cooling slightly. Mix in a large bowl with the beef, onion, egg, oregano, and salt. Fill the peppers with the mixture and place in a casserole dish, standing upright. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour, until the peppers are tender and the meat mixture is cooked through. Top with the tomatoes and feta, cook another 10 minutes and serve hot.
Meal 4: Honey Garlic Ribs with Baked Beans $7.97
- 3 lbs country ribs
- ½ C honey (pantry)
- ¼ C soy sauce (pantry)
- ¼ C distilled vinegar (pantry)
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced (pantry)
- 2 T brown sugar (pantry)
- 2 cans Bush’s baked beans
Directions: Place the ribs in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and brown sugar. Pour over the ribs, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Heat the beans in a saucepan to simmering. Serve with the ribs.
Meal 5: Chicken Cheddar Broccoli Rice $4.19
- 1 lb split chicken breast, skin and bones removed
- 2 T olive or avocado oil (pantry)
- 1 broccoli crown, diced
- 2 pkgs Knorr Rice Sides, Cheddar Broccoli, plus ingredients for preparation, per package
Directions: Cut the chicken into small bites. Saute over medium-high heat in the oil. Add the rice and fresh broccoli, plus ingredients per the rice package. Follow the directions on the package to prepare the rice.
Meal 6: Beefy Cheddar Mac $5.28
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced (pantry)
- 1 lb Meijer elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 pkg Meijer shredded cheddar
- Milk (pantry)
Directions: Brown the ground beef and onion; drain. Add the cooked macaroni and cheese. Heat to melt the cheese, adding milk to make a sauce. Serve with extra cheddar, if desired.
