This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
There are some really great deals at Meijer this week! Here are six delicious meals for your family that are easy to make and won’t break the bank!

Meal 1: Pork Chops with Au Gratin Potatoes and Vegetables $5.09
- 1 ½ lbs assorted pork chops
- 2 lg onions, sliced (pantry)
- 1 box Idahoan au gratin potatoes plus ingredients per package
- 1 bag Meijer mixed vegetables
Directions: Place the pork chops in a slow cooker. Top with onions, sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the potatoes per the package directions. Prepare the vegetables as desired.
Meal 2: Steak and Salad $5.99
- 1 lb eye of round, sliced into steaks
- 1 bag New Star spinach
- 1 pkg mini bella mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bottle Meijer salad dressing, any variety
Directions: Grill or pan fry the steaks to your liking. Add the spinach and mushrooms to a bowl. Top with steaks and dressing.
Meal 3: Teriyaki Ribs with Fried Rice and Vegetables $7.98
- 2 lb country ribs
- ½ bottle Soy Vay teriyaki sauce
- 1 box Rice A Roni fried rice plus ingredients per package
- 1 bag Meijer mixed vegetables
Directions: Place the ribs and sauce in a slow cooker. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the rice per package directions and the vegetables as desired.
Meal 4: Smoked Sausage, Potato, and Kale Soup $4.79
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 pkg John Morrell smoked sausage, cut into pieces
- 1 onion, diced (pantry)
- 3 cloves garlic, diced (pantry)
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 bunch kale, chopped
- 1 32 oz box Kitchen Basics chicken stock
- 2 C milk
- Salt and pepper
Directions: Heat a large soup pot over medium heat. Add the oil, sausage, onion, garlic, and kale. Saute until the onions are clear and kale is wilted. Add the potatoes and chicken stock and simmer until the potatoes are tender. Stir in the milk and season with salt and pepper. Serve with crusty bread, if desired.
Meal 5: Chicken with Pasta $3.96
- 2 lb chicken thighs
- 1 jar Meijer pasta sauce
- 1 box Meijer green box pasta, any variety
Directions: Place the chicken thighs and pasta sauce in a slow cooker. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Serve together.
Meal 6: Smoked Brat Rollups $8.12
- 1 pkg Johnsonville Smoked Brats, cut in half
- ½ bag Meijer shredded cheddar
- 2 tubes Meijer crescent rolls
- 1 bag Meijer potato chips, any variety
Directions: Roll out and separate the crescent rolls. Place a brat piece on the wide end, sprinkle with cheese, and roll up. Place on a baking sheet. Bake in a 375°F oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve with mustard and ketchup, if desired.
