Meijer Meal Planning Week 11/5: 6 Meals $33 Bucks

This is the week of 11/5, bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based on a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those to your final price. (sale dates )
Meal 1: Enchiladas $9.69
- 1 ½ lb ground beef
- 1 can Meijer black beans
- 2 pkgs Meijer taco seasoning
- 1 pkg La Banderita soft taco tortillas
- 1 can Meijer enchilada sauce
Directions: Brown the ground beef and drain, if needed. Add the taco seasoning per the directions on the package. Drain the black beans and form enchiladas by placing beans and meat on the tortillas and rolling them up. Place in a baking dish, top with enchilada sauce, and bake in a 350°F oven for 35-45 minutes. Serve hot with sour cream, if desired.
Meal 2: Pork Chops and Squash $4.74
- 1 lb assorted pork chops
- 1 large butternut squash, seeded and cubed
- 4 onions, quartered (pantry)
- 2 T butter (pantry)
Directions: Place the squash and onions in a slow cooker. Top with pork chops, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Serve the squash with butter.
Meal 3: Honey Glazed Chicken with Broccoli and Rice $3.17
- 2 lb chicken thighs
- 3 T butter, melted (pantry)
- 2 t curry powder (pantry)
- 3 T honey (pantry)
- 1 lb broccoli, chopped
- 2 C rice (pantry)
- 4 C water (pantry)
Directions: Place the chicken in a baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter and honey, and sprinkle with curry powder. Bake in a 375°F oven for 1 hour, until chicken is cooked throughout. Steam the broccoli to desired doneness. Place the rice and water in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a simmer for 20 minutes, until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
Meal 4: Beefy Pasta $5.97
- 1 lb eye of round, cubed
- 3 cloves garlic (pantry)
- 2 jars Prego pasta sauce, any red variety
- 1 box Meijer pasta
- Parmesan cheese (pantry)
Directions: Place the eye of round in a slow cooker. Top with the sauce, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Serve the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
Meal 5: Mac & Sausage $3.43
- 2 boxes Kraft Mac & Cheese (from a 5 pk)
- 1 pkg Oscar Mayer Naturals smoked sausage, cut into ½ inch pieces
- ½ C butter (pantry)
- ½ C milk (pantry)
Directions: Prepare the mac and cheese as directed on the package, using the milk and butter. Place in a casserole dish and stir in the sausage. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
Meal 6: Meatloaf and Mashers $6.48
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 eggs (pantry)
- ½ C breadcrumbs (pantry)
- ½ t salt (pantry)
- ¼ t black pepper (pantry)
- 1 t oregano (pantry)
- ¼ C ketchup (pantry)
- 2 ½ lb red potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
- Milk and butter (pantry)
Directions: In a bowl, mix the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and oregano. Form into a loaf on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake in a 425°F oven for 1 hour or until no pink remains in the center. Spread the ketchup on the top and bake another 10 minutes. Place the potatoes in a deep saucepan. Season with salt and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter to desired consistency.
