Meijer Meal Planning Week 12/17: 6 Meals $46 Bucks

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
Meal 1: Ham with Mashers and Broccoli $10.79
- 1 7 lb Cook’s spiral sliced or shank ham
- 2 ½ lbs red potatoes, scrubbed and diced
- 2 broccoli crowns
- Milk (pantry)
- Butter (pantry)
Directions: Place the ham in a roasting pan, cover and bake in a 350°F oven for 2 hours, until the ham is hot throughout. Place the potatoes in a saucepan, cover with water, and add salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain and mash with the butter and milk to desired consistency. Steam the broccoli to desired doneness. Refrigerate leftover ham for tomorrow’s meal.
Meal 2: Cheesy Potato and Ham Casserole $6.46
- 2 C cubed leftover ham
- 1 bag Meijer frozen shredded hash browns
- 1 bag Kraft colby jack cheese, shredded
- 1 16 oz container Daisy sour cream
- 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 small onion, diced (pantry)
Directions: Mix all of the ingredients and place in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour, until the ingredients are bubbly and hot.
Meal 3: Chorizo Street Tacos $7.50
- 1 pkg Meijer chorizo
- 1 pkg Old El Paso taco shells
- ½ container Daisy sour cream
- ½ pint grape tomatoes, chopped
Directions: Brown the chorizo and drain. Warm the taco shells. Assemble and enjoy!
Meal 4: Spanish Rice $4.93
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 orange pepper, diced
- 1 14.5 oz can Meijer Naturals petite diced tomatoes
- ⅔ C rice (pantry)
- 2 C water (pantry)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (pantry)
- 1 T chili powder (pantry)
- 1 t salt
- ½ t black pepper
Directions: Brown the ground beef, pepper, and garlic in a deep saute pan until no pink remains. Add the remaining ingredients, stir, and bring to a simmer. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
Meal 5: Roast Pork Loin with Stuffing and Green Beans $10.95
- 4 lb boneless pork loin
- 2 T oregano (pantry)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (pantry)
- 1 t salt (pantry)
- 1 t basil (pantry)
- 1 box Stove Top Stuffing, pork flavor (plus ingredients per package)
- 1 ½ lbs fresh green beans
Directions: In a small bowl, mix oregano, garlic, salt, and basil. Rub on the pork loin and place in a roasting pan. Roast uncovered for 1 hour in a 375°F oven, until the internal temperature reaches between 145°F and 160°F. Remove from oven, cover loosely with foil and allow to rest. Prepare the stuffing as directed on the package. Clean the green beans and steam to desired doneness. Refrigerate leftover pork for tomorrow’s dinner.
Meal 6: Pork and Vegetables with Waffles $5.60
- 2 lbs leftover pork, cubed
- 2 jars Heinz pork gravy
- 1 bag Birds Eye mixed vegetables
- 8 Eggo waffles, toasted
Directions: In a saucepan, heat the pork, gravy, and vegetables until simmering and hot throughout. Serve over the toasted waffles.
This week, six mouthwatering meals cost only $46.23.
