Meijer Meal Planning Week 4/30: 6 Meals Under $50

This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
Meat sales are great this week, and it is easy to save money by shopping the sales to feed your family right. Check out these great meals that will help save you some money and time.
Meal 1: Pork Loin 2 Ways with Strawberry Mango Salad $9.90
- 4 lb pork loin
- Salt and pepper (pantry)
- Tuscan herb mix (pantry)
- 1 bag Dole salad blend
- 1 mango, peeled and diced
- ½ lb strawberries, sliced
- ¼ C olive oil (pantry)
- ¼ C red wine or apple cider vinegar (pantry)
- 1 t dried oregano (pantry)
- ½ t dried basil (pantry)
Directions: Pat the pork loin dry. In a small bowl, mix the Tuscan herbs with salt and pepper to taste. Coat the pork loin and place in a slow cooker. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Remove from the slow cooker and allow to rest. Slice, reserving half the loin for the next meal. In a bowl, mix the salad blend, mango, and strawberries. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Toss with the salad.
Meal 2: Chili Lime Pork Loin Sammies with Fries $3.94
- ½ leftover pork loin, shredded
- 3 T chili powder (pantry)
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- 8 Meijer hamburger buns
- 1 bag Meijer French fries, any variety
Directions: Place the pork loin in a small slow cooker. Mix in the chili powder, cover, and set to low for 3-4 hours. Before serving, add the zest and juice of the lime and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over the buns. Prepare the fries as directed on the package.
Meal 3: Cheez-It Chicken and Avocado Tomato Salad $7.08
- 2 lb split chicken breasts, bones removed and meat butterflied
- ½ box Cheez-It crackers, crushed
- 1 egg, beaten (pantry)
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 lb tomatoes on the vine, diced
- Salt and pepper (pantry)
- ¼ C olive oil (pantry)
- 2 T red wine vinegar (pantry)
Directions: Place the egg and crackers in separate shallow bowls. Dip the chicken in the egg to coat then in the crackers. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a 400°F oven for 20-30 minutes, until the chicken is no longer pink in the thickest part, turning the chicken over about halfway through the baking. Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl and toss gently to coat.
Meal 4: Turkey Tacos $9.15
- 2 lb Jennie-O ground turkey
- 1 box Taco Bell crunchy taco shells
- 2 pkts Meijer taco seasoning
- ½ head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 bag Meijer shredded Mexican or cheddar cheese
Directions: Brown the turkey and drain. Add the taco seasoning per the package directions. Prepare the tacos as desired.
Meal 5: Easy Pasta Bake $6.27
- 1 chub Bob Evans Italian sausage
- 1 jar Meijer pasta sauce, any variety
- 1 box Meijer green box rotini
- 1 pkg Meijer shredded mozzarella
Directions: Brown the sausage and drain. Prepare the pasta as directed on the package; drain. Layer the sausage and pasta in a casserole dish. Pour the sauce over the top and add 1 cup of water to the jar. Swirl and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly.
Meal 6: Garlic Herbed Spare Ribs with Mac & Cheese and Fresh Pickles $11.31
- 4 lb Pork spare ribs
- 5 cloves garlic, minced (pantry)
- 1 t oregano (pantry)
- 1 t salt (pantry)
- ½ t pepper (pantry)
- 1 greenhouse cucumber, sliced thin
- ¼ C olive oil (pantry)
- 2 T apple cider vinegar (pantry)
- ½ t salt (pantry)
- 1 box Velveeta Shells & Cheese
Directions: In a small bowl, mix the garlic, oregano, 1 t salt, ½ t pepper. Rub on the ribs and place on a rack on a rimmed baking sheet. Cover with foil and bake in a 325°F oven for 1 hour, until tender. Remove foil and increase temperature to 350°F for 15 minutes. Prepare the mac & cheese per the package. Place the cucumber, oil, vinegar, and salt in a bowl. Toss to mix.
