This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $40, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)

This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )

It’s 10 for $10 at Meijer this week! With deals like that, it’s easy to feed your family for less. Here are six meals that will make your family smile.

Meal 1: Pasta with Meat Sauce $6.99

1 lb ground beef

2 cloves garlic (pantry)

1 small onion, diced (pantry)

1 t olive oil (pantry)

2 jars Meijer pasta sauce

1 pound Barilla pasta, any variety

Directions: Brown the ground beef with the olive oil, garlic, and onion. Drain when no pink remains. Place the beef in a saucepan and add the pasta sauce. Stir and heat until simmering. While the pasta sauce is heating, boil the pasta according to the package directions. Serve together.

Meal 2: Chicken and Waffles $6.59

1 pkg Meijer toaster waffles

3 8oz cups popcorn chicken (from the deli)

1 jar Heinz chicken gravy

1 bag Meijer frozen vegetables (any variety)

Directions: Place the gravy in a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until it comes to a slight simmer, stirring often. Place the chicken on a baking sheet in a 325°F oven to keep warm. Toast the waffles as desired. Prepare the vegetables as directed on the package. To serve, place two waffles on a plate. Top with ¼ of the chicken and gravy. Serve vegetables on the side.

Meal 3: Brats, Mac & Cheese, and Salad $6.49

1 pkg Meijer fresh brats

1 box Kraft Mac & Cheese + ingredients to prepare

1 bag Dole Greener Selections salad

½ lb greenhouse tomatoes

1 greenhouse cucumber

Salad dressing (pantry)

Directions: Grill or broil the brats until no pink remains in the center. Prepare the mac & cheese according to the package directions. Make a salad from the salad mix, tomatoes, and cucumber. Top with your favorite dressing

Meal 4: Boneless Pork Chops, Rice, and Veggies $5.58

2 lbs boneless pork loin, sliced into 4 pork chops

1 pkg Knorr Rice Side + ingredients to prepare

1 bag Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety

Directions: Grill or broil the pork chops as desired, until no pink remains in the center. Prepare the rice according to the package directions. Prepare the vegetables as desired.

Meal 5: Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore $6.50

½ bag Meijer frozen chicken tenders (unbreaded)

2 pkgs white mushrooms, cleaned and stems cut

1 lg can Meijer petite diced tomatoes

1 t oregano (pantry)

1 t basil (pantry)

½ t salt (pantry)

½ t pepper (pantry)

1 lb Barilla Angel Hair Pasta

Directions: Place the chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and seasonings in a slow cooker. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Serve the chicken mixture over the pasta.

Meal 6: Sloppy Joes and Cheese Puffs $6.99

1 lb ground beef

1 can Manwich sauce

1 pkg hamburger buns

1 pkg Meijer cheese puffs

Directions: Brown the ground beef and mix in the sauce. Bring to a simmer. Serve on hamburger buns with cheese puffs.
