Meijer Meal Planning Week 7/2: 6 Meals $30 Bucks

This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based on a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
This week has a great selection on sale and you can take advantage of the deals at Meijer with these six meals!
Meal 1: Breakfast for Dinner Quiche $6.00
- 1 Meijer pie crust, pressed into a 9” pie pan
- ½ lb Dietz & Watson ham, diced
- 1 onion, diced (pantry)
- 1 t olive oil (pantry)
- ½ bag Kraft shredded Swiss cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1 C whole milk or half n half (pantry)
Directions: In a saute pan, caramelize the onions and ham with the olive oil. Place in the pie crust and top with cheese. In a bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth and add in the milk. Pour over the ham mixture. Bake in a 350°F oven for 40-50 minutes, until a knife inserted into the center, comes out clean. Let rest 5-10 minutes and serve with fruit, if desired.
Meal 2: Meatloaf Burgers with Grilled Lyonnaise Potatoes $5.33
- 1 ½ lb ground beef
- 2 eggs (pantry)
- ¼ C breadcrumbs (pantry)
- 2 T Montreal steak seasoning (pantry)
- 4 Meijer Hamburger buns
- 4 slices Meijer sharp cheddar cheese
- 2.5 lbs Meijer red potatoes, sliced thin
- 2 onions, sliced thin (pantry)
- 2 T butter (pantry)
- Aluminum foil (pantry)
Directions: In a bowl, mix the beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, and seasoning. Form into 4 patties. Lay out two pieces of aluminum foil, large enough to make a packet for the potatoes, to form an X. Layer the potatoes and onions, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cut up the butter and place on top, then fold the foil and seal to make a packet. Grill the burgers and potatoes over medium heat, to desired doneness for the burgers and until the potatoes are tender. Serve the burgers on the buns with cheese and additional condiments, as desired.
Meal 3: Chicken Kabobs $5.48
- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 zucchini, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, cut into chunks (pantry)
- ½ pint grape tomatoes
- 4 oz white mushrooms, cleaned
Directions: Skewer meat and vegetables as desired. Grill over medium high heat until meat is cooked through, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
Meal 4: Spare Ribs and Fries $6.85
- 2 lb pork spare ribs
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue sauce
- 1 bag Meijer French fries, any variety
Directions: Place the ribs in a slow cooker and top with barbecue sauce. Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the fries as directed on the package.
Meal 5: Island Teriyaki Sausage and Rice $3.29
- 1 pkg Hillshire Farm smoked sausage, cut into ½ inch chunks
- 1 can Meijer chunk pineapple in juice, drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 T soy sauce (pantry)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (pantry)
- 1 T olive or sesame oil (pantry)
- 2 C rice (pantry)
- 4 C water (pantry)
Directions: Place the sausage and onion in a saute pan and brown. Add in the pineapple and caramelize. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, and oil; toss with the sausage mixture and simmer until reduced by half. While the sausage is browning, place the rice and water in a saucepan; cover and bring to a simmer for 20 minutes or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Serve the sausage mixture over the rice.
Meal 6: Grilled Pork Chops with Cucumber Tomato Salad $4.00
- 1 ½ lb assorted pork chops
- Salt and pepper (pantry)
- 2 cucumbers, sliced thin
- ½ pint grape tomatoes, cut in half
- ¼ C olive oil (pantry)
- ¼ C red wine or apple cider vinegar (pantry)
- Salt and pepper (pantry)
Directions: Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Grill to desired doneness. Place the cucumbers and tomatoes in a bowl. Top with olive oil and vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.
