Meijer Meal Planning Week 4/16: 6 Meals $35 Bucks

This is the week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE
For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)
- This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
- All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )
It’s 10 for $10 at Meijer this week which means phenomenal deals on all your meals! Check out these 6 meals that will keep your family in smiles.
Meal 1: Easy Slow Cooker Pasta Sauce $6.50
- 1 pkg Johnsonville Italian sausage
- 2 jars Meijer pasta sauce, any variety
- 1 box Meijer green box pasta, any variety
Directions: Place the Italian sausage in a slow cooker. Top with pasta sauce, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Serve with parmesan, if desired.
Meal 2: Grilled Italian Chicken with Salad $5.84
- 2 split chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 bottle Meijer Italian salad dressing
- 1 bag Dole Classic Romaine
- ½ pt grape tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 yellow pepper, chopped
- Salad dressing of choice (pantry)
Directions: Remove the bones from the chicken and butterfly. Place in a large plastic zippy bag with the Italian dressing. Let marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight. Grill the chicken until no pink remains in the center. Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Serve with the chicken.
Meal 3: Homemade Cheeseburger Mac $4.99
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced (pantry)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (pantry)
- 1 box Meijer green box elbow macaroni
- 1 pkg Meijer shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Milk (pantry)
Directions: Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large saute pan until no pink remains in the beef. Drain. In another saucepan, cook the pasta and drain. Add to the meat. Stir in the cheese and a bit of milk until the cheese melts and becomes creamy. Add milk as needed. Serve with crusty bread, if desired.
Meal 4: Tex-Mex Sausage and Rice $2.50
- 1 pkg John Morrell smoked sausage
- 1 jar True Goodness salsa
- ½ bag Meijer frozen corn
- 2 C rice (pantry)
- 4 C water (pantry)
Directions: Cut the smoked sausage into slices. Brown in a saute pan. Add the salsa, corn, rice, and water. Stir then bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Meal 5: Steak and Salad $7.18
- 1 lb eye of round steaks
- 1 bag Dole Greener Selections
- ½ container Compari tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 orange pepper, seeded and chopped
- Salad dressing of choice (pantry)
Directions: Grill or broil the steaks to your desired doneness. Let rest then slice into thin strips. Place the remainder of the ingredients into 4 salad bowls. Top with the steak and dressing. Serve with crusty bread if desired.
Meal 6: Chicken Joes and Chips $7.53
- 2 split chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 cans Manwich sauce
- 1 pkg Meijer hamburger buns
- 1 bag Lay’s potato chips
Directions: Remove the bones from the chicken and place in a slow cooker. Top with the Manwich sauce, cover, and set to low for 6-8 hours. Shred the chicken and serve on the buns with chips.
